Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vending machine and a vending machine payment method which enable costs to be lowered without causing discomfort for a customer, if payment using graphic code information is performed. To that end, the present invention is provided with a payment control unit 10c that: upon receiving pressing down of an article selection button 15 for selecting an article to sell, displays a list of one or more payment brands available for payment, in a predetermined priority order D1, on a display unit 16; repeats processing for transitioning a selection state of the payment brand in the predetermined priority order D1 every time the same article selection button 15 is pressed; initiates a payment standby state with a payment brand being currently selected in response to a long press of the same article selection button 15; and acquires graphic code information 17 of the payment brand from a payment server of the payment brand currently in the payment standby state and causes the graphic code information 17 to be displayed on the display unit 16 along with a name of the payment brand.
