Abstract:
Provided is a vibration-cutting condition setting device that makes it easy to select a tool for vibration cutting and to set a parameter. A vibration-cutting condition setting device 3 for a machine tool 1 comprises a display unit U3, and a control unit U4. The control unit U4 receives, as settings for controlling feeding movement of a driven object to involve vibration, a feed rate (F) when the driven object is not vibrated, a first parameter (A) relating to a cycle of vibration, and a second parameter (E) relating to amplitude of vibration. The control unit U4 calculates a maximum feed rate (Fmax) of the driven object, on the basis of the feed rate (F) when the driven object is not vibrated, the first parameter (A), and the second parameter (E), and displays a value indicating the calculated maximum feed rate (Fmax) on the display unit U3.
