Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a video editing system which has significantly improved workablity and convenience in video editing, and with which it is possible to perform video editing with high degree of freedom. [Solution] This video editing system comprises a manager terminal 30 and a video editing server 10. The video editing server 10 is provided with: a first editing screen display unit 111 that causes the manager terminal 30 to display a first video editing screen including at least a video reproduction region 131 for reproducing a video and a timeline display region 132; a text object disposition unit 112 that disposes a first text object 135 in the timeline display region 132 and receives text data indicating a character string inputted to the first text object 135; and a first caption display unit 113 that causes, on the basis of the text data inputted to the first text object 135, the character string to be superimposed on the video as a first caption, at a video reproduction time corresponding to the position of the first text object 135 disposed in the timeline display region 132.
