Abstract:
Disclosed are a video encoding and decoding method and device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring color components of an image sequence, wherein the color components comprise two chroma components; performing filtering on a reconstruction block of the color components of at least some images in the image sequence using an adaptive loop filter technique; and generating a code stream of the image sequence, wherein in the code stream, different identifiers are used for the two chroma components in syntax elements of an image level to respectively indicate whether the corresponding chroma components are filtered using an adaptive loop filter (ALF). By means of the embodiment, the processes of writing syntax elements of an encoder and reading syntax elements of a decoder are simplified, and the flexibility and efficiency of video encoding/decoding are also improved.
