Abstract:
This video and gradient signal acquiring device for a virtual running system is provided with: an image capturing means which includes an analogue sound input terminal and a storage means, and which captures a video of a running course and obtains a digital video signal; an inclination sensor which detects the state of inclination of the running course simultaneously with the image capturing performed by the image capturing means, and outputs an analog gradient signal; a signal processing means which converts the analog gradient signal output from the inclination sensor into a digital serial signal; and a level converting means which converts the level of the digital serial signal from the signal processing means and outputs said signal. The image capturing means is configured in such a way that the digital serial signal input from the level converting means by way of the analogue sound input terminal is further subjected to digital conversion, is synchronized with the digital video signal, and is stored in the storage means.
