Abstract:
The present invention provides a video monitoring processing method and apparatus. The method comprises: a client registers on a video session system; and the client receives a video sent by a video monitoring terminal, wherein the video monitoring terminal registers on the video session system by means of a gateway. By means of the present invention, the problem of impossibility in multi-path monitoring of a client due to no shared combination of a video session system and a video monitoring system in the related art is solved, thereby achieving video transcoding using coding and decoding capabilities of an MCU, and achieving a video monitoring function by replacing a video monitoring client with a video session client. Meanwhile, a video synthesis capability of the MCU can be utilized, and therefore the client can monitor a plurality of ends at the same time.
