Abstract:
Provided is a video processing method wherein upon acquisition of authentication information that is transmitted from an external terminal (2) and via a network (N1), a user associated with the authentication information is authenticated. Also, in this video processing method, managed is management information that includes user management information indicating, for each user, whether or not an authenticated user has access permission for each of a plurality of functions that execute respective processing with respect to video content. Furthermore, in this video processing method, upon acquisition of a processing request which is transmitted form the external terminal (2) and which requests processing using one of the functions, it is determined whether or not the user authenticated on the basis of the management information has access permission for that function, and if it is determined that the authenticated user has access permission for that function, the authenticated user is granted access to that function.
