Abstract:
A video display method comprises: a step for decoding video data output from a first reception unit provided in a video reproduction device by a decoder; a step for transferring video data output from a second reception unit provided in the video reproduction device to an external device via a connection means; a step for decoding the video data supplied via the connection means by a decoder of the external device; a step for transferring a video signal decoded by the decoder of the external device to the video reproduction device via the connection means; a step for combining a video signal decoded by the decoder of the video reproduction device with the video signal transferred via the connection means, and a step for displaying video obtained as a result of the combination on a display.
