Abstract:
Provided are a virtual gift special effect processing method and apparatus, a live streaming system, a device and a storage medium. The processing method comprises: receiving a gifting instruction of a virtual gift sent by an audience client; according to the gifting instruction, acquiring a corresponding target special effect gift and determining a feature area of the target special effect gift; according to the feature area, determining compositing position information of the target special effect gift on a live stream video; sending the live stream video and the compositing position information to the client so that the audience client can, according to the compositing position information, add the target special effect gift to the live stream video for compositing and display. The present application uses an anchor client to encode and encapsulate compositing position information outside of a live stream video, said information is transmitted independently from the live stream video and is decoded at an audience client, which facilitates the audience client editing the effect display of a virtual special effect gift for the second time, and which helps to improve the effect of the display of special effects.
