Title:
VIRTUAL MACHINE RESOURCE ALLOCATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, MEDIUM AND DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/066079
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a virtual machine (VM) resource allocation method and apparatus, a medium and a device. The method comprises: when VMs are created in a physical machine, allocating corresponding bare machine devices to the VMs, the bare machine devices being obtained by segmenting physical resources of the physical machine, and the VMs being in one-to-one correspondence with the bare machine devices; configuring the operation mode of the bare machine devices into a non-root mode; and switching the operation mode of a CPU of the physical machine to the non-root mode so as to start the VMs in the bare machine devices. Hence, bare machine devices are obtained by segmenting physical resources of a physical machine, and VMs are in one-to-one correspondence with the bare machine devices, and thus each VM may operate in a respective corresponding independent bare machine device thereof, achieving resource isolation and performance isolation of the VMs. Moreover, the direct application of the VMs to the physical resources in the physical machine is achieved, overhead of hardware virtualization is effectively reduced, and the high performance of the physical machine and the VMs is ensured.
