Abstract:
A virtual object control method and apparatus, a device, a storage medium and a program product, relating to the technical field of computers and the Internet. The method comprises: displaying a user interface (320), a rocker control used to control a virtual object to move being displayed in the user interface, the rocker control having multiple trigger areas, and different trigger areas corresponding to different sensitivities; in response to a first sliding operation having a starting position located in a first trigger area, determining a first movement speed of the virtual object according to the sensitivity of the first trigger area (340); and controlling the virtual object to move at the first movement speed (360). A user may start to execute a a sliding operation at trigger areas having different sensitivities according to different requirements, so that the virtual object can be controlled to move at different speeds, enriching control modes of the virtual object, and improving man-machine interaction efficiency.
