Abstract:
A viscosity index improver according to the present invention comprises a star polymer which is produced by reacting divinylbenzene with an alkyl methacrylate including stearyl methacrylate, and which has a core part derived from the divinylbenzene and an arm part that is a polymer chain of the alkyl methacrylate. Each of a lubricant oil additive and a lubricant oil composition according to the present invention contains the viscosity index improver.
