Abstract:
[Problem] To make a server system robust against failure in a communication path. [Solution] A first server system 2-1 and a second server system 2-2 are installed on a first network 3-1 and a second network 3-2 of different communication carriers, respectively. These first and second server systems are connected to each other by a dedicated line 6. Even if failure occurs in the first network, it is possible to maintain communication through the second network, and even if failure occurs in the second network, it is possible to maintain communication through the first network. Furthermore, if failure occurs in the dedicated line, it is possible to perform operation in a degeneration mode in each of the first and the second networks.
