Abstract:
A voltage converting device (2) is provided with: a voltage generating unit for generating a direct current voltage; switching elements for converting the direct current voltage into an alternating current voltage; an LLC resonance circuit (221) which consists of two inductances (Lr, Lm), one capacitance (Cr), and a transformer (222) including, on the primary side thereof, one inductance (Lm) among said two inductances, and which boosts the alternating current voltage by means of LLC resonance; and a control unit (243) which changes the state of a load supplied with electric power by way of the transformer, and which changes the voltage value of the alternating current voltage by varying the switching frequency at which the switching elements switch between an ON state and an OFF state.
