Abstract:
A walking assist device (10) is provided with: a hydraulic actuator (201) to be disposed in the femoral region of a user (20); a hydraulic actuator (202) disposed in the crural region of the user (20); and a controller that controls the hydraulic actuator (201), on the basis of pressure in the hydraulic actuator (202). The hydraulic actuator (201) and the hydraulic actuator (202) each have a cylindrical tube that expands and contracts in response to pressure of a fluid. The controller is disposed separately from the hydraulic actuator (201) and the hydraulic actuator (202).
