Abstract:
A washing machine according to the present disclosure comprises: a washing tub that accommodates laundry; an outer tub in which the washing tub is rotatably installed; a motor that rotates the washing tub; a water supply means that supplies washing water to the outer tub; a blowing channel that enables air supply to the outer tub; a functional particle supply means that is arranged in the blowing channel and supplies functional particles to the outer tub; and a control means that controls operation of the motor and the functional particle supply means. The control means executes a tub cleaning operation of driving the motor and the functional particle supply means to sterilize the washing tub and the outer tub.
