Abstract:
A washing machine according to the present disclosure comprises: a washing tub that accommodates laundry; an outer tub in which the washing tub is rotatably installed; a motor that rotates the washing tub; a functional particle supply means for supplying functional particles to the outer tub; and a control means that controls operation of the motor and the functional particle supply means. The control means executes a tub cleaning operation including a sterilization step of driving the motor and the functional particle supply means and a drying step of driving the motor prior to the sterilization step.
