Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a washing machine in which a stirring blade is prevented from idling as a result of having failed to come into contact with clothes, while clothes that have undergone final dewatering are prevented from tangling so as to make the clothes less likely to be rumpled or damaged. This washing machine comprises: a housing; an outer tub which is supported inside the housing in a vibration-proof manner and which retains washing water therein; a washing-cum-dewatering tub which is rotatably supported inside the outer tub and in which the laundry is accommodated; a drive unit which rotary-drives the washing-cum-dewatering tub; a blast unit which blasts air into the washing-cum-dewatering tub; a blowoff port through which the air coming from the blast unit is blasted out from the upper side to the lower side of the washing-cum-dewatering tub; and a control unit which controls the drive unit and the blast unit and which also controls a washing step, a rinse step, and a dewatering step. The control unit is configured to perform, after the dewatering step, a disentangling step for rotary-driving the washing-cum-dewatering tub mono-directionally and causing air to be blasted out from the blowoff port into the washing-cum-dewatering tub.
