Abstract:
Provided are a wastewater treatment system and a wastewater treatment method, whereby it becomes possible to decrease the amount of a persistent water-soluble polymer in wastewater while preventing the increase in cost. The wastewater treatment system is characterized by comprising: a filtration device 20 which is equipped with an ultrafiltration membrane and filtrates wastewater containing a persistent water-soluble polymer by a crossflow mode; a vaporization device 50 which vaporizes wastewater that has not been filtrated by the filtration device 20 and is increased in the concentration of the persistent water-soluble polymer; a condensation device 60 which condensates a gas vaporized by the vaporization device 50; and a biological treatment device 40 which decomposes an organic material contained in the wastewater obtained after the filtration by the filtration device 20 and the wastewater obtained after the condensation by the condensation device 60.
