Abstract:
Disclosed are a water-dispersible polyurethane adhesive composition for a water-soluble label, and a preparation method therefor, the composition comprising: a water-dispersible polyurethane-urea adhesive resin obtained by polymerization of isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) or dicyclohexylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate (H12MDI), dimethylolbutanoic acid (DMBA), 1,4-butanediol (1,4-BD), triethylamine (TEA), ethylenediamine (EDA), and a polyester polyol, which has a molecular weight of 2,000 and is composed of adipic acid and 1,4-butanediol; and a water-dispersible polyurethane tackifier prepared using IPDI, DMBA, TEA, and a polyester polyol, which has a molecular weight of 2,000 and is composed of adipic acid and neopentyl glycol, and thus the mixing ratio of the adhesive resin and the tackifier enables an adhesive composition for a label requiring no release film to be provided, and both water solubility and adhesion can be satisfied through the use of a polyester polyol to be easily hydrolyzed and regulation of the amount of DMBA.
