Abstract:
A water storage apparatus and a refrigerator. The water storage device comprises: a water jug, used for storing water, a float capable of moving up and down being disposed in the water jug; an apparatus cover having an accommodation chamber defined therein; a first contact spring switch disposed in the accommodation chamber, the first contact spring switch having a portion beyond a lower surface of the device cover. The water storage device is configured such that: when water added to the water jug exceeds a predetermined water level, the float abuts the portion of the first contact spring switch beyond the lower surface of the apparatus cover, causing the first contact spring switch to be connected. The water storage apparatus can determine a water level condition within the water jug depending on whether the first contact spring switch is connected.
