Abstract:
Provided is a water supply management device that is capable of changing raw water and operation conditions of a water treatment device so as to reduce environmental impact of the water treatment device while conserving fresh water resources. This water supply management device is for determining the method for operating a water treatment device capable of switching between a plurality of water sources as a water intake source, and is characterized by comprising: a water-quality and demand-supply information acquiring unit that acquires information about the water quality and the demand and supply for the plurality of water sources; a supply tightness calculation unit that calculates the tightness in supply at each of the water sources from the information about the demand and supply of the water source; an environmental impact calculation unit that calculates environmental impact of the water treatment device from the information about the water quality at each of the water sources when raw water is obtained from the water source; and a raw water selection unit that selects raw water that is to be taken by the water treatment device, on the basis of the environmental impact and the supply tightness at each of the water sources.
