Abstract:
It is possible to provide a high-performance waveguide type ortho mode transducer capable of reducing its size and axis and increasing the band region. The waveguide type ortho mode transducer includes a first rectangular main waveguide (1), first to fourth rectangular branching waveguides (2a to 2d) for branching vertically to the first rectangular main waveguide (1), a shortcircuit plate (3) connected to one terminal of the first rectangular main waveguide (1), a metal block (4) arranged on the shortcircuit plate (3), a rectangular waveguide step (5) connected to the other terminal of the first rectangular main waveguide (1), and a second rectangular main waveguide (6) connected to the rectangular waveguide step (5).
