Abstract:
The present invention provides a wavelength conversion member in which phosphor powder is dispersed in a glass matrix and which exhibits excellent light emitting efficiency. The wavelength conversion member in which phosphor powder is dispersed in a glass matrix is characterized in that the glass matrix has a refractive index (nd) of 1.6 or greater and a liquidus temperature of 1070°C or less.
