Abstract:
Provided is a welded joint comprising: a pair of steel base materials having a thickness of 0.4 to 4.0 mm, at least one of the steel base materials having a tensile strength of greater than or equal to 780 MPa; and a weld metal for welding the pair of steel base materials. The weld metal has a weld toe with peaks and valleys in a plan view, wherein: the distance in a direction orthogonal to a weld line direction between the apex of each peak and the bottom point of an adjacent valley is less than or equal to 3.0 mm; and a total number of the peaks and valleys of which the distance in the direction orthogonal to the weld line direction between the apex of a peak and the bottom point of an adjacent valley is 0.1 mm to 3.0 mm is 2 to 30/15 mm. Also provided is an automobile component including the welded joint.
