Abstract:
The present invention relates to a welding electrode holder which facilitates the connection of a cable to the welding electrode holder by having the structure of including a pressing means for pressing a cable against a cable connection section provided on one side of a body. The welding electrode holder comprises a cable connection section formed with a gripper on one end thereof for gripping a welding electrode and coupled with a cable on the other end; and a pressing means inserted into the cable connection section to press the cable while the cable is inserted. The cable connection section has a female threaded hole formed in the advancing direction of the cable, a receiving space of a predetermined depth, and branch protrusions protruded to a predetermined height having a distance on both sides thereof from the bottom surface of the receiving space to enable cable lines, while being branched, to be folded on the bottom surface of the receiving space and distributed. The pressing means has a male thread formed on the outer periphery of one end thereof so as to be coupled into the female threaded hole of the cable connection section and an insertion hole formed in the middle thereof for inserting the cable, and includes: a pressing section having a leading end surface, which is formed on the leading end which is in the direction that the pressing means enters into the welding electrode holder, for pressing the cable lines distributed in a foldable state on the bottom surface; and a grasping section coupled with the opposite end of the pressing section for simple grasping by a user.
