Abstract:
A wide-bodied elevator compensation chain, and manufacturing process thereof. The compensation chain comprises: an anchor chain (1) and an outer cover layer (2) covering the anchor chain (1). The outer cover layer (2) comprises materials of: a styrenic block copolymer, a thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer, a flame-retardant silicon masterbatch, an intumescent flame retardant, a flame-retardant synergist, and a processing aid. The outer cover layer (2) and the anchor chain (1) are cast together to form an integrated solid member. The outer cover layer (2) of the compensation chain of the present invention has advantages of flexibility, resistance to environmental stress cracking, a high hardness, a large specific weight, superior heat resistance, a bending radius larger than 800 mm, flame resistance, a low smoke density, and ageing resistance. The anchor chain (1) has excellent strength and toughness, such that the compensation chain of the present invention can support a large load, thereby effectively improving safety of an elevator.
