Abstract:
Provided is a low cost, low volume Wilkinson-type combiner that suppresses the possibility of damage from isolation resistance attributed to combination loss. The Wilkinson-type combiner comprises: first and second input terminals IN1, IN2 into which high frequency signals are input; an output terminal OUT; a wiring line 1 that combines the high frequency signals input into the first and second input terminals, and outputs the result to the output terminal; an isolation section 3 that is provided between the first and second input terminals and in which a first isolation resistor 4a, a transformer 6, and a second isolation resistor 4b are connected in series; a detection circuit 7 that is connected to a secondary coil 6b of the transformer, and detects current flowing in the secondary coil; and a determination circuit 8 that outputs a control signal to cut off input of high frequency signals into the first and second input terminals if the current flowing in the isolation section and detected by the detection circuit is a current of a prescribed value or higher.
