Abstract:
This wiper device can exhibit higher wiping performance than a conventional wiper device. Provided is a wiper device for a windshield, the device comprising a wiper arm, and a wiper blade mounted on the wiper arm, wherein the wiper blade includes a blade rubber and a blade stay which supports the blade rubber. The blade rubber includes: a base part which is a part of the blade rubber to be mounted on the blade stay; a lip part; and a neck part which rockably connects the lip part to the base part, wherein at least a portion of the tip of the lip part constitutes a contact part with a windshield, abuts the wiper arm to a glass flat plate and moves the glass flat plate. In a stop state, the width of the contact part of the blade rubber and the glass flat plate is from 1.0 μm to 20.0 μm, and an angle θ between a specific position of the lip part and the glass flat plate is from 20° to 80°.
