Abstract:

The disclosed wireless base station is equipped with: a measurement instruction unit that transmits a control signal instructing the measurement of wireless quality of a cell that is in the midst of communication with a mobile station (UE) or an adjacent cell; a reception unit that receives from the mobile station (UE) measurement results relating to each carrier among at least two carriers; and a handover control unit that instructs the mobile station (UE) to alter the state of communication with the aforementioned mobile station on the basis of the measurement results. The handover control unit determines whether or not to perform alteration, which is of the state of communication with the mobile station, with respect to the aforementioned mobile station on the basis of: measurement results relating to the carrier the received the measurement results mentioned in the previous sentence; and measurement results relating to a carrier other than said carrier.
