Abstract:
An RFID tag (102), which is an example of a wireless communication device, transmits and receives a communication signal. The RFID tag (102) is provided with a substrate (1), antenna patterns (2A, 2B) formed on the substrate (1), and an RFIC package (3), which is a power supply circuit, connected to the antenna patterns (2A, 2B). In the antenna patterns (2A, 2B), the line width at a harmonic current concentration location, at which the current is stronger at the frequency of harmonic resonance higher than the resonance frequency at the frequency of a communication signal, is less than the line width at other locations. This structure makes it possible to prevent ignition or combustion, even when affixed to a food item or the like and subjected to high-frequency power for heating food.
