Abstract:
A hydraulic excavator (1) is provided with a working machine body (2), object detection sensors (3a-3c), a swivel angle sensor (61), and a controller (4). The working machine body (2) has a traveling body (11) and a swiveling body (12). The swiveling body (12) is disposed above the traveling body (11) and can swivel relative to the traveling body (11). The object detection sensors (3a-3c) are disposed on the swiveling body (12). The swivel angle sensor (61) detects the swivel angle of the swiveling body (12). The controller (4) swivels the swiveling body (12) and detects objects in the surroundings of the working machine body (2) by using the object detection sensors (3a-3c), and, if an object has been detected, identifies the position of the object relative to the working machine body (2) on the basis of the distance to the object from the working machine body (2) detected by the object detection sensors (3a-3c) and the swivel angle at which the object was detected, and sets a virtual wall (W) on the basis of the identified position.
