Abstract:
The present invention has: a first orientation detection device for detecting the orientation of an upper rotating body relative to a lower traveling body; a second orientation detection device for detecting the orientation of an earth mover; a laser receiver that is provided in the upper rotating body and can receive laser beams emitted from a laser transmitter; and a calculation unit for calculating the vertical position of a cutting edge of the earth mover relative to a construction surface. The calculation unit calculates the vertical position of the cutting edge of the earth mover relative to the construction surface on the basis of the location at which the laser beams are received by the laser receiver, the orientation of the upper rotating body relative to the lower traveling body 2, and the orientation of the earth mover.
