Abstract:
A worm magnetic levitation train comprises: a rack including a plurality of rack sawteeth arranged along railroad tracks and rack magnets arranged at the respective rack sawteeth; a worm gear of which a rotational axis is parallel to the direction of the railroad track and including a plurality of worm teeth arranged between the rack sawteeth and worm gear magnets provided at the worm teeth so as to maintain a magnetically separated state from the rack magnet; and a worm-driven propulsion part having a supporting frame at which the worm gear is rotatably provided, wherein the worm magnetic levitation train having compartment cars connected to the worm-driven propulsion part travels along the railroad tracks by the rotation of the worm gear in a state in which the worm gear maintains the magnetically separated state by means of the rack magnets and the worm gear magnets.
