Description:
WRITING MATERIAL FOR IMPROVING WRITING ABILITY

This invention relates to a writing material providing improvement of writing skills of an individual beginning to learn writing or incapable of writing due to physical inabilities such as muscle deficiency etc.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION Under current practice, writing ability of an individual being either a schoolchild or an adult not having writing ability for some reason is improved by means of guide lines formed on a sheet of paper on which the individual is making writing practice. One of the known methods providing learning of writing of a schoolchild starts with linking guide points of letters with a pencil so that once the points are linked the letter is revealed.

Further, schoolchildren are exercised to improve their hand muscles by drawing pictures, shapes and various objects constituting guide points that are linked by a pen one another to reveal the object.

DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION One object of the present invention is to provide an improved means assisting individuals in improving writing ability effectively and efficiently.

Another object of the invention is to provide a means for assisting strengthening and improving motor muscles of children or individuals suffering from muscle deficiency. In order to achieve the above objectives, the invention comprises a writing material having pre-formed markings thereon for an individual to fill-in the pre-formed markings by a writing means. The pre-formed markings comprise recessed form on the writing material, and provide guidance to the writing tip of the writing means.

The writing material can be of any material such as paper or paper-based materials and plastic or plastic-based materials. Similarly, the writing means can include any means capable of drawing and writing such as pen, pencil or stylographic pen etc.

The markings having any kind of shapes or forms like letters, pictures, lines etc. are formed by emboss printing or press printing on the writing material. This is achieved by a mold having protrusions of the shapes or forms of the markings secured to the printing machine. The mold is pressed on the writing material to form the letters, shapes etc. on the material.

The markings may be of various sizes in accordance with the material on which such markings are formed. Typically, the recessing size of a marking is preferably between 0.1 mm to 1 mm which depends on the protrusion size of shapes and formations on the mould, the pressing force of same, and material kind of the writing material.
