Title:
WRUTZITE-TYPE MANGANESE OXIDE PARTICLES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/095682
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are novel wrutzite-type manganese oxide particles. A compound containing manganese is thermally decomposed to produce manganese oxide particles. In this procedure, a polyol-based material and a reducing agent comprising at least one ethylene glycol stearate-based material are added as additives to the reaction system, the resultant product is heated at a first temperature (200℃ or lower) under a pressure-reduced atmosphere, then the temperature is increased, and the product is heated at a temperature higher than the first temperature under an inert gas atmosphere. In this manner, single-phase wrutzite-type manganese oxide particles each having a particle diameter of 100 nm or less can be produced.
