Abstract:
In order to provide an X-ray high voltage apparatus that can reduce power loss and temperature rise in a step-up circuit, a step-up circuit operating period during which the output voltage of a step-up circuit (20) is controlled to match a prescribed step-up voltage, and a step-up circuit stopping period during which the operation of the step-up circuit (20) is stopped are repeated in synchronization with a prescribed timing. For example, an inverter circuit (30) alternately repeats an inverter circuit operating period and an inverter circuit stopping period, and this inverter circuit operating period is made to synchronize with the step-up circuit operating period, and this inverter circuit stopping period is made to synchronize with the step-up circuit stopping period.
