Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a zoom lens having a high variable magnification ratio, a compact size, high performance, and a camera shake correction function. [Solution] The zoom lens comprises, in order starting from the object side, a positive first lens group (1G), a negative second lens group (2G), a positive third lens group (3G), a positive fourth lens group (4G), and a negative fifth lens group (5G). When magnification is changed from the wide-angle end to the telephoto end, the distance between each lens group from the first lens group (1G) to the fifth lens group (5G) changes, and all lens groups move in relation to the imaging position. When focusing, only the fifth lens group (5G) moves. The third lens group (3G) comprises, in order starting from the object side, a 3a lens group (3Ga) having a positive refractive power, and a 3b lens group (3Gb) having a negative refractive power, and is formed in such a way that camera shake correction is carried out by moving only the 3b lens group (3Gb) in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis.
