Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing power storage element at low cost while ensuring the safety.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a power storage element 1 arranged by sealing an electrode body 10, in which a positive electrode 20 having a current collector 21 coated with a positive electrode material 22 capable of reversibly supporting lithium ions or anions, and a negative electrode 30 having a current collector 31 coated with a negative electrode material 32 capable of occluding and releasing lithium ions are opposed to each other through a separator 40, together with an electrolyte solution in an outer packaging body 11 comprises: a step (s9) of charging the power storage element causing the negative electrode to occlude lithium ions; an additive agent-preparation step (s4) of preparing an additive agent including a supply source of lithium ions to make the negative electrode occlude; and steps (s5, s7) of introducing the additive agent into the outer packaging body. In the additive agent-preparation step, a lithium halide is used as the lithium ion supply source, and the lithium halide is dissolved in a solvent to prepare the additive agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
