Abstract:
To improve image quality in a display device of a delta nabla arrangement.SOLUTION: In each first kind display pixel, a display device determines a luminance value given to a green subpixel by a predetermined method, determines a luminance value given to each of two red subpixels to be a luminance value that is reduced to a luminance value determined for one red subpixel by a predetermined method, and determines a luminance value given to each of two blue subpixels to be a luminance value reduced to a luminance value determined for one blue subpixel by a predetermined method. In each second kind display pixel, the display device determines a luminance value given to each of the red sub-pixel and the blue sub-pixel by the predetermined method, and determines a luminance value given to each of two green sub-pixels to be a luminance value reduced to a luminance value determined for one green subpixel by the predetermined method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
