Abstract:
To provide an active matrix type display device which can prevent the discharge of moisture from an organic insulating film with an easy structure.
The active matrix type display device is equipped with the organic insulating film 4 including a contact hole 4a for performing electrical connection to a TFT 2 and a pixel metal electrode 7a formed at least in part of the surface 4 of the organic insulating film 4. The organic insulating film 4 includes a first groove portion 4b formed to separate pixel metal electrode 7a of adjacent pixels from each other.
