Abstract:
In a disposable diaper (10), an inside leg area (S3) has in the front-rear direction (L) thereof a first region (R1) and a second region (R2) divided by a folding line (FL) that extends in the width direction (W). The skin surface sides of the disposable diaper are folded to face each other, along the folding line in the inside leg area. The disposable diaper comprises a pair of inside leg extension sections (41) that expand and contract in the front-rear direction in an area overlapping an absorbent core in the inside leg area. The inside leg extension sections have: a front edge (41F) being one edge in the front-rear direction; and a rear edge (41R) being the other edge. The front edge and the rear edge are arranged in the first area without straddling the fold. The front edge is arranged closer to the fold than the rear edge. When the disposable diaper is in a folded state, the front edge is arranged between an inside leg-side edge (25c) closest to the folding line and the folding line, in the front-rear direction, in a leg opening (25).
