Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the configurations of many kinds of shape steels by providing stage mechanisms, laser displacement gage, and data processing device. CONSTITUTION:Stages 6u, 6d, 7u, 7d, 8u, 8d, 9u and 9d are mutually associated and moved in the horizontal direction or in the vertical direction. A laser displacement gage comprises a vertical-position measuring laser displacement gages and horizontal-position measuring laser displacement gages 4u, 4d, 5u and 5d. The vertical-position detecting laser displacement gage directly emits laser and detects the vertical position of the cross section of shape steel. The horizontal-position measuring laser displacement gage turns the emitted laser clockwise by 90 deg. or counterclockwise by 90 deg. with a mirror and detects the horizontal position of the cross section of the shape steel. A data processing device has the function for computing the shape of the cross section of the shape steel based on the stages and the measured values of the positions from the laser displacement gages. Thus the configurations of many kinds of steels can be measured, and the measurement can be performed without the effects of the warping and the bending of the shape steel.
