Abstract:
To provide a camera system which improves detection accuracy of a detection object by estimating the characteristics of the detection object from an image obtained by emitting a terahertz wave.SOLUTION: A camera system comprises: an illumination unit which irradiates a subject with a terahertz wave; a camera unit which detects the terahertz wave emitted from the illumination unit to capture a terahertz image; an estimation unit which estimates the characteristics of the detection object in the terahertz image; and an image processing unit which applies image processing to the terahertz image according to the estimation result obtained from the estimation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
