Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus, by which an echo of a CFR signal of ITU-T recommendation V.21 transmitted from a receiver is not recognized as a carrier of an image signal, even when receiving this echo, training data are not adjusted for the CFR signal, and thereafter, a correct short training/image signal can be received, even when there are line delays and echoes, when using a predetermined modem.
SOLUTION: Training information at the time of receiving long training information is stored, success in receiving short training information is detected, high-speed data are detected, and the stored training information is set into the modem. Receiving control is changed, in response to the detection of the short training information and the high-speed data.
