Abstract:

To reduce the occupation of a DW period conforming to the NAN standard by one communication device.SOLUTION: During a discovery window (DW) period compliant with a neighbor awareness networking (NAN) standard, first communication regarding a predetermined service is performed with another communication device, and a first frame including information related to the communication during a period outside the DW period compliant with the NAN standard, which indicates an elapsed time from the DW as timing to start second communication regarding the predetermined service is transmitted to the other communication device, and in a period based on the transmitted information, the second communication is performed with the other communication device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
