To provide a communication line configuration system based on user- provided information, which provides an explicit and clear selection criterion of provided information understandable between users, makes the communication line configuration mechanism completely independent of a protocol actually used for information exchange, and selects the most suitable protocol for the information characteristics for the information exchange.
The communication line configuration system is provided with an authentication section that confirms user-provided information, an address dynamic update section that registers the network node address number of a user to a name space storage section on the basis of an output from the authentication section, the name space storage section, a network node of the network user, a name solution section that makes an address solution request and a name solution request to the name space storage section, and a path configuration section for receiving the address from the name space storage section to configure a path. The information provided by the network user is presented to the network, or the address of the communication destination is solved on the basis of the provided information to conduct communication.
