Title:
COMPLEMENTARY BOW TIE SHAPE ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3270720
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a low frequency function in a state where influence on the radiation of an X-band radiator array and a radar section characteristic is minimum by forming a low resistance thin film by complementary partial bow tie shape patterns from which the low resistant thin film is removed by the partial bow tie shape patterns.
SOLUTION: The low resistant thin film 60 which is formed on a dielectric sheet and has specific resistance which gradually increases to a high specific resistance in an end part 54 on the opposite side of a feed end part from low specific resistance in the feed end part 52 and a feed circuit 100 which is electrically connected to the resistance thin film 60 in the position 66A of a thin film having low specific resistance in the resistant thin film 60 are provided. The resistance thin film 60 is formed by the complementary partial bow tie shape pattern from which the low resistance thin film 60 is removed by the partial bow tie-type patterns 68A and 68B. Thus, low resistant coating by the resistant thin film 60 'relieves' the influence of a metallic end part and operates a bow tie shape antenna like an indefinite length antenna.
