Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition sufficient and stable in foaming properties for simultaneously carrying out hair caring and cleansing, useful for both conditioning and washing.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a conditioner system containing 1-10wt.% of a 14-22C aliphatic alcohol, 0.3-10wt.% of a quaternary ammonium salt type cation surfactant of the formula (R1 to R4 are each a 1-22C aliphatic, a 12-22C aromatic, alkoxy, alkylamido, etc.; X is an anion) and 0-10wt.% of an arbitrary cationic silicone, (B) a washing base containing 5-30wt.% of an alkylpolyglycoside type nonionic surfactant and 0-10wt.% of an arbitrary ampholytic or zwitter-ion surfactant and (C) a stabilizer system containing 0.1-6wt.% of a mono- or distearic acid glycol and 0.2-3wt.% of a cross-linked copolymer of methacryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride. The composition can be prepared into a form of a liquid, cream or gel.
