This controller is provided with a plurality of sheath heaters 7, 8, a mica heater 9, a thermistor 5 for detecting a room temperature, an operation part 3 for setting various operations, a display part 4 for displaying the operation setting in the operation part 3, a control part 2 for switching electrification patterns to the sheath heaters 7, 8 and the mica heater 9, based on the operation setting in the operation part 3 and the room temperature from the thermistor 5, to control a heating operation, and an operation switch 1 for turning on and off a commercial electric power source, and is constituted to be brought into a specific processing mode when the operation switch 1 is turned on while pushing a plurality of switches in the operation part 3 at the same time. An assembling situation such as defective electrification due to erroneous wiring or a defective component, visibility of a lamp and reception feeling of the switch is thereby confirmed efficiently without requiring the setting by a general user, with executing the specific processing mode in a production process, and the inspection work is thereby gets efficient.
